To help expedite the admitting process on the day of your visit, Treasure Valley Hospital offers Pre-admission testing and Pre-registration. These two appointments can be schedule within two weeks of your procedure.

Pre-admission testing is offered Monday through Friday and should be scheduled by your doctor. At this 90 minute appointment you will be interviewed by a nurse who will take your health history, vital signs, lab work is drawn and an EKG is done if needed.

Upon reviewing your health history, EKG and lab results, an Anesthesiologist my wish to visit with you at this time.

If you are under the age of 65 you will not need an EKG unless you have a history of heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes.

Another service we provide is pre-registration. At this appointment, you will complete the admitting process which includes signing consent forms and reviewing the remainder of your admitting paperwork. This appointment takes about 30-45 minutes. You can call 373-5075 to schedule this appointment at your convenience.

Your physician's office should have pre-admission packets specifically for Treasure Valley Hospital. You should be given a packet at the time your physician schedules your procedure. These packets contain insurance forms and an anesthesia questionnaire that can be completed before you arrive for your surgery. Additional information is included that will help you have a more enjoyable stay. By filling out the forms and reviewing the information in advance your admitting process will go more smoothly.
